Behavior Eval:
Cam came into the care center as a stray so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. He has been friendly and easy to handle since arriving. He is playful but pulls hard on leash and would likely benefit from a harness and loose leash training. He showed no concerning behaviors during handling. He did not engage with the food or the toy, but he did take the rawhide with a loose, wiggly body, and allowed the rawhide to be taken away. We feel that Cam's behavior is appropriate for new or experienced adopters, provided they are prepared to give him the positive reinforcement training and guidance he needs to become a successful family pet, and provided they are comfortable managing him on leash

I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 09/16/2014 from NY 10303, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. Weight 56lbs

From The ACC site: To help ensure successful adoptions, please fill out a pre-adoption application (http://www.nycacc.org/pdfs/adoptions/AdoptionApplication.pdf) and bring it with you when you come into the Care Center to adopt a pet. If you are coming from outside of the immediately area, it is strongly suggest that you first complete an application and email it to adoption @ nycacc.org -This will allow ACC to answer any questions and resolve any potential obstacles before you make the trip.
