Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal:
A foster writes: On the day I took Brooklyn home she got very excited as she jumped in my car , I kind of feel like she thought she was going home which broke my heart. Brooklyn is very loyal and warms up to everyone she meets right away. She is house trained , she never has any accidents, and she walks calmly on her leash . I leave her kennel open all day and she loves to lay in it with her blanket and toys. I have a cat who is not the sweetest feline and when she provokes Brooklyn she simply cannot be bothered. Brooklyn always seems to be searching when she goes on walks , searching and looking. I know she is looking for something familiar which unfortunatly for her will never come. I am hopeful that a special new person will come for her and put her at ease. She is a wonderful dog and has brought me and my family so much joy in the short time we know her. If you are looking for a very calm layed back companion with lots of love to give she is the one....................... Please come and meet Brooklyn. She is waiting so patiently .
P.S I also have a 7 month old baby and a 10 year old son who Brooklyn adores. **She is great with children and ignores cats**

This dog is in danger of being on the euthanasia list and could be scheduled to be killed at any time!
